The first round of the 2021 NFL Draft begins tonight in Cleveland, Ohio, and the mock drafters of the world have weighed in on who the Texans will take tomorrow night with their first pick, which is in the third round at 67th overall.
Only one player, North Carolina receiver Dyami Brown, is headed to the Texans in more than one mock draft.
Seven different positions were mocked to Houston, including two different quarterbacks. Seven of the 13 mock drafts we included had the Texans going with a defensive player, while six think Houston will go the offense route.
While there are hundreds of mock drafts bouncing around the information superhighway, the majority only include the first round. Far fewer mock drafts go multiple rounds. The Texans dealt their 2020 and 2021 first round picks, as well as their 2021 second-rounder to Miami in 2019 as part of the deal that brought Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil to town.
The 67th overall selection will be announced by former Texans offensive lineman Chester Pitts, and it's expected to take place around 8:45 p.m. CT on Friday.
