A Clemson receiver at 40th overall is the most popular pick for the Texans in the latest round of mock drafts.
The latest HoustonTexans.com Mock Draft Survey compiled 22 multi-round mock drafts from around the web, and Tee Higgins was mocked to the Texans by four different experts. Last year with the Tigers, Higgins averaged 19.8 yards per catch en route to a season with 1,167 yards and 13 scores.
Right behind Higgins, Auburn defensive lineman Marlon Davidson appeared on three mock drafts as the Texans' 40th overall pick. Three other players--Baylor receiver Denzel Mims, TCU receiver Jalen Reagor and Texas A&M defensive lineman Justin Madubuike--were each mocked twice to Houston.
The Texans are without a first rounder this year and next after trading those picks and some players to Miami in the deal for left tackle Laremy Tunsil and receiver Kenny Stills. The trade last month with Arizona saw the Texans acquire the Cardinals' second round selection, which is 40th overall.
Houston also has the 57th overall pick. In yesterday's mock draft survey, Notre Dame pass-catcher Chase Claypool was the most-mocked player to the Texans.
