The Texans' second takeaway of the day led to their first touchdown of the afternoon at Green Bay.
Houston's Tommy Townsend blasted a 56-yard punt from the sunny end of the field through to the shadowy side, and the ball bounced off the Packers' Corey Ballentine. The Texans' M.J. Stewart pounced on it, and the Texans were in business with a 1st-and-10 at the Green Bay 11-yard line.
It was takeaway number two of the afternoon, as linebacker Neville Hewitt picked off a Jordan Love pass on the opening possession of the game.
Running back Joe Mixon took the first down carry nine yards to the Packers' 2-yd line, and went around the left side for two yards and the score on the next snap.
The Ka'imi Fairbairn extra point put the Texans up, 10-3, at the 11:52 mark in the second quarter.
It was Mixon's third touchdown run of the season.
