Sunday loss at Green Bay stung, but the Texans are already set on fixing mistakes that doomed them in their loss to the Packers.
Houston was unable to hold on to a late lead, and fell, 24-22, on a Brandon McManus 45-yard field goal as time expired.
The loss dropped their record to 5-2, and they'll welcome the 4-3 Colts to NRG Stadium next Sunday.
"We'll go back to the drawing board and see what those issues were as we watched the film," Head Coach DeMeco Ryans said. "We'll see what happened."
The Texans took a 19-14 lead into the halftime, and kicked a field goal with 1:44 left in regulation. But the offense was limited to 86 passing yards, and the Packers emerged with the victory.
"We left a lot of plays out there," offensive lineman Shaq Mason said. "All we can do is watch the tape, learn from it and continue to grow."
Quarrterback C.J. Stroud completed 10-of-19 passes on the day, and was sacked four times.
"We just couldn't find our rhythm," Stroud said. "We'll go watch the film, figure out what went wrong and actually do get better. We'll get back to practice and just work harder."
Kickoff with the Colts is set for noon on Sunday.
