The Cowboys are talking about the Texans | Enemy Intel

Cowboys Head Coach Mike McCarthy on Texans Quarterback C.J. Stroud: "The first thing that jumped off to me was his arm talent. But really his ability to get the ball out in tight quarters. There's throw after throw on a college tape, and I thought it really translated very well to the pro game where you're seeing him getting hit and he's still snapping it off and getting it out with a tremendous amount of velocity. Holding it to the last possible second, recognizing the pressure. To see a young rookie quarterback make those type of pressure throws, I was very, very impressed with just the little I saw of him last year. But they're still putting up good numbers. He can make all the throws. His composure in the pocket is very impressive."

Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer on the Texans Offense: "They look explosive. Their offense is one of the most explosive ones, with big plays. Their quarterback, he really does a great job. He kind of flicks the ball. He's got good accuracy. He moves well in the pocket. The receivers look pretty good, and the running back."

Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Brian Schottenheimer on the Texans Defense: "We're playing a hell of an opponent this week, with a hell of a defense. They're talented. They tackle well. They're physical. They fly around to the ball. They're going to challenge you more with their personnel than with their scheme. It's funny: when you watch them, there's so many similarities to what you see from San Francisco. You see the DeMeco blueprint."

Cowboys Offensive Lineman Tyler Guyton on the Texans Defensive Line: "They're a good group, and we've got to make sure we're focusing on them."

Schottenheimer on Texans defensive ends Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson, Jr.: "It's the way they try to control the line of scrimmage. These guys are penetrators. So they're going to try to knock you back. They try to stop the run on the way to the quarterback. Two really good edge pieces."

Cowboys Offensive Lineman Chuma Edoga on Hunter and Anderson: "Those are two great bookend rushers. It's going to be a big challenge for us, but I feel like we're up for the task."

Schottenheimer on the Texans linebackers: "They fly around. One guy (Azeez Al-Shaair) is from San Fran'. DeMeco brought him with him. They run well."
