The Texans will be without center Juice Scruggs against the Bears.
Scruggs, who started last week in the win at Indianapolis, was listed on Friday as questionable to play because of a groin injury. Jarrett Patterson, who started at center the first seven games of last season, will likely take Scruggs' spot.
Running back Dameon Pierce is also inactive, and he was listed as questionable Friday because of a hamstring injury. Pierce was part of a 40-carry, 213-yard team rushing performance in last week's victory, contributing three carries for 16 yards.
