Inactives: Texans without RB Joe Mixon, RT Tytus Howard vs. Bills

REG5-inactives

The Texans will be without a pair of starters and several other key contributors on Sunday against the Bills.

Running back Joe Mixon won't play because of an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2, while right tackle Tytus Howard will be inactive due to a hamstring injury.

Backup running back Dameon Pierce is also out, so Cam Akers, Dare Ogunbowale and J.J. Taylor will likely split the carries on Sunday at NRG Stadium.

Because of an illness, starting linebacker and team captain Azeez Al-Shaair was listed Saturday as questionable for Sunday's game. But he's active.
