Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott on the Houston Texans: "They've been loading up for some time last year, and then this past offseason through the draft, through free agency. It seems like they already had a good team coming off last year's team. So, it's going to be a big challenge for us going into their place."
McDermott on the Texans Offense: "They're very talented. Extremely talented on the perimeter of their offense with the receiving corps. It's really hard to stop all of them, because you don't have enough guys to double-team all of them. We'll have our work cut out for us."
Bills Linebacker Terrel Bernard on the Texans Offense: "They've got a really good offense. A lot of playmakers, and guys that 7 (C.J. Stroud) can get the ball to. They're explosive."
McDermott on Texans Wide Receiver Stefon Diggs: "Stef's playing at a high level. He was a really good player here, and competitive. He's highly competitive on tape. It'll be a big challenge for us."
Bills Defensive Coordinator Bobby Babich on Diggs: "Stef's a great player. Went against him a lot whether it was training camp or watching him in one on ones, all those types of things…obviously we're gonna have to try to limit what he does in the game."
Bills Cornerback Rasul Douglas on Diggs: "He's competitive. So you just know he's going to get everyone to compete. Probably wakes up with a little bit more juice than a regular game. But Stef is Stef. He's a competitor. He's one of the best receivers."
Bernard on Diggs: "His explosiveness, and the things that he does and the energy he brings to the game, you can feel it on the tape."
McDermott on Texans Running Back Joe Mixon: "Mixon is a heck of a football player. You can certainly see it when he's been healthy this year."
Bernard on Mixon: "His versatility. He can do a of different things. Strong, powerful runner. Can make guys miss in the hole. His receiving ability is up there with some of the top backs in the league. He's a really good back."
Bills Quarterback Josh Allen on the Texans Defense: "They've got a really good defense. They've got some guys that can get after it. They've got a couple of ends that are really fast. They do a really good job of getting to the quarterback."
Allen on Texans Cornerback Derek Stingley, Jr.: "In the back end, everyone obviously knows the corner they've got in Derek Stingley, Jr. Great young player who seemingly makes plays on the ball, week in and week out. So we've got to make sure we're aware of what we're doing."
