TRANSACTIONS: Selected by the Houston Texans in the fifth round (167th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Houston 2023 (15/6, 2/0):

Appeared in 15 games (six starts) and tallied 61 tackles (32 solo), two tackles for loss, one quarterback hit, two passes defensed and one forced fumble, while finishing third among all rookie linebackers in combined tackles (61) through the 2023 regular season.
Made his NFL debut in Week 1 at Baltimore (9/10) and logged three combined tackles (two solo)
In his first career start, tallied a career-high seven tackles (four solo) in Week 2 vs. Indianapolis (9/17)
Started at the linebacker postion in Week 3's win over Jacksonville (9/24), tying for a team-high 10 tackles (six solo) and reaching double-digit tackles for the first time in his career
